“Excellent combination of helpful photography tips and history.” As a photography hobbyist with a bit of wanderlust, I love to capture my travels with pictures. Joyce's tour is a wonderful way to combine these two activities. She provides helpful hints on taking creative shots of historic Charleston. If you follow her lead, your photos from the tour of famous sites such as Rainbow Row will look much better than the typical tourist photo. I found the photography tips were instructive without getting too technical. Joyce adapts her pointers to the knowledge level of the tour group and suggests some great shots. The tour also provides a historical overview of the sites. Thanks for a great tour!
“You don't want to pass this one up!” Such a smart way to see all the "hot spots", it's almost impossible not to come home with amazing shots. Tour guide is wonderful and full of information about the city and your camera. The route hits all the highlights and we had a blast!
“Interesting and Fun” My husband and I took this tour on the recommendation of the hotel concierge. Having been on tours in Charleston we wanted something a little different. Joyce 's excitement over the historical marvel that Charleston is, made this tour even better. She was a storehouse of historical knowlege always making it interesting. She showed us little tricks to taking better pictures. No need to have a fancy camera but you definitiely want to have one with you for this tour. She has a tour #2 that takes on a different area of the historic area and we plan to take that next time we are in town. It is well worth your time to take this tour.
